Buttercream

Buttercream is a soft, spreadable icing made primarily from butter and sugar, used both to frost the outside of a cake and to pipe decorative details like borders, flowers, and lettering. It has a softer, creamier texture and flavor than fondant, though it is more sensitive to heat, which matters for outdoor Orlando events in warmer months.
