Baby Shower Cake Design Ideas
Soft palette and gender-reveal cake design ideas for Orlando baby showers.
Updated June 22, 2026
Baby shower cakes tend to lean soft and sweet, but there is plenty of room for personality. Here are popular Orlando baby shower cake directions.
- Pastel buttercream florals: Soft pink, blue, sage, or lavender with piped flowers.
- Gender-neutral themes: Clouds, stars, woodland animals, or botanical greenery work well before a reveal.
- Gender-reveal cakes: A colored filling or topper kept secret until the cake is cut.
- Baby-themed toppers: Fondant baby shoes, rattles, or a simple "Oh Baby" topper.
If you are planning a gender reveal, tell the cake artist you choose from the Orlando baker directory. Ask how the surprise detail will be kept private.
